We have gotten a lot done in our Film Club groups so far! Good job to everybody that has been working hard.
Because of the UMAF group we will be entering two short films into the Utah Multimedia Arts Festival. Keep your fingers crossed, I hope we do well.
Because of the Shoshone Documentary group we are right on track in getting our documentary done by mid May, which is exactly when we need to have it done by. Good job guys!
The Marketing group is creating a video to show at the Junior Comity's assembly this year! And, then they will start marketing our club at the end of this school year.
The Constitution group is almost half way done with a club constitution that will be made effective starting next year.
I am so proud of everyone in Film Club, and it looks like our future is going to be bright! Thank-you everyone that has contributed to this club thus far! It's so exciting to know that our club, that was just started last year, is contributing to the reputation of our high school. Furthermore, we are really at the fore front of this kind of thing . . . in future I believe there will be National and even International organizations for high school "Film Clubs" or "Multimedia Clubs" or "Digital Photography Clubs" to compete in. Just like there are national business and science organizations such as DECA, FBLA, Science Olympiad, Science Fairs, etc. Imagine a National Multimedia Arts Festival, or a International High School Film Festival!
Before you know it clubs like ours will be popping up in high schools all over the nation, and our club is one of the pioneers!
